I finally did my ruffle from the tutorial by Leah Killian! See my post here for the tutorial:

All supplies are from the October kit from The Nook :

I was in a hurry and didn't get the shot squared up very well.
Here you can see the ruffle from the side. The brown rose ribbon is just glued to the seam in the middle.
This was such fun to make!!
I used mist on two of the hearts.
The sketch is from Page Maps and my layout is for an entry @ sketchs4all

ReplyDeleteAWWWWWWW!!! How cute!!! (can I say cute?) :) Great job on the LO!! I've tried ruffles and just can't seem to master them. :) Beautiful job! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Yolie!!
ReplyDeleteYes Celeste, you can say cute. Wasn't he??? That was my first ruffle. I learned it from the link in the post. Check it out! One tip I can definitely give you...set your stitches on the longest setting. I didn't think about it and happened to have my sewing machine on a tiny stitch setting. It was moaning and groaning over some of those bumps in the ruffle haha.
